Thank you for blurring that
Im assuming its a rain spider - you will see them a lot
lol yeah, the mrs freaked, Cody thought it was awesome but wouldn’t enter the room. I came prepared with a can of Doom and hard flat sandal.
The vacuum(assuming you have proper vacuum and not a handuvac type vacuum) works best. sucks them right up and you can leave the vacuum on for about 5min after sucking it up then it eventually dies and and you can go empty the vacuum outside in the trash
wow… i never even considered that. That is a fantastic idea. Thanks for sharing. I cringe for spriders and do not like them but I am the only willing party to do something.
Nope the vacuum thing doesnt work for me - the thunks and bumps as it goes up the pipe is just not good for me
oh ja… you may not wanna view my whatsapp status then >_<
To late … …but I skipped over it
So apparently there will be a Dragon Age announcement on the 10th.
meh…
Yeah best way to stay as far away from them and not risk having them perhaps jump towards you… form your picture though that is a very tiny one…the ones that live in my complex are usually palm sized to dinner plate sized
Good mornin’ y’all!
I swear as I started reading that I was like, “this sounds like Nigerian in my head”, and lo!
We don’t kill huntsman spiders, though I won’t lie they do make me nervous.
If they decide to move in for awhile, we leave them and they help kill cockroaches. mosquitoes, and other pests.
Same reason I don’t like removing feral cats because they ensure that you don’t have mice or rats (though my wife disagrees with me on this point because feral cats also kill/chase away bird life).
I won’t lie, I did feel some remorse. I didn’t want to kill it but I was more concerned about where it may end up. And with a little one in the house I didn’t want to take the risk. I suppose it was one of those, lesser of two evils scenarios.
Yeah, the second there’s a kid in the house the equation changes.
Apparently the huntsman’s bite doesn’t deliver enough toxin to harm a human, but you don’t want to take the chance with a child.
But kids are human too!
Fully agree. Sadly though I don’t know enough about spiders to make that judgement call on the spot, snakes though, I can tell the difference and know when to touch or leave.
See for me its not an option, I normally get someone to catch and release it into the garden.
But if that is not an option Doom is used.
