Morning, all the rest of you. I had a bit of a shit weekend. Woke up on Friday with a fever, so I spent the day in bed - didn’t even venture to the living room for some television or to my PC for some gaming. Luckily my wife quickly checked that my symptoms did not match up with Covid symptoms except for the fever, she diagnosed me with the normal flu that’s going around here.
I had a really rough time sleeping Friday night - my wife said I was “at death’s door”. Her exact words were “you’re going on as if you’re at death’s door”, but I’m counting it.
I’m still feeling a bit under the weather, and while I don’t have a fever anymore, my body’s temperature regulation is still borked a bit. I’m well enough to be at work at least, but I’ll still be taking it easy here.

You have my sympathy.
Our whole family has been sick, at least one or two of us at a time for the past 2 weeks. Ear infections, sinusitis, throat infection etc. My wife had to go for a Covid test because of her symptoms. Third time she’s had to do the test since the start of the pandemic. Thankfully negative. But we’re all battling to get our immune systems back in good order.

Covid has buggered most people’s immune systems, I and going nuts with my sinusitis, nothing is working so at least once a month I have a sore throat from the post nasal drip and sore ears.
Not even a cortisone injection helped me out. I can’t even find antihistamines to help me.
