Aren’t there any other options? A forward in salary just puts you in a perpetual catch-up cycle, until you get either a bonus to cover the forward or get a side hustle to start paying it off…

Sadly I see no other way. Just means whatever I ask for will come off my salary at end month. School starts tomorrow and need stuff for breakfasts and lunches. We’re pushing to make sales in the wife’s business but you can’t force people to buy, and if a forward is approved I might at the very least have access to it by Wednesday at earliest.

Its some that I have but mostly nope, we did good tho, we did sit close together at a long table but I kept to the group that I know and all their husbands work with me. So we kept our bubble small, and we sat outside most of the time except when we had to go inside.
It was good tho to get out for the first time since the first lockdown with people, just be social. I really enjoyed it! It felt weird tho. We all just kept distances, no hugs - which if you know the bride to be is almost impossible!

Morning people of the palace
Tired after the weekend, I was struggling after the tea party, just couldn’t stay awake, but I couldn’t sleep during the day so fell asleep early last night, I got a restless sleep tho why I have no idea.
Also the boss woke up on the wrong side of the bed and is a miserable grump
So it seems to be a blue Monday all around
