Morning folks. Don’t know if folks do this to help make their job searches easier or more efficient (most people here are tech-savvy so probably). Anyway, if you google your desired job (i.e. “legal secretary jobs” or “line technician jobs”), one of the first results is a google widget with a bunch of job listings curated from different sources, if you click through to this widget, you can set up alerts on new listings within your space.

This alert system helped me out 3 years ago when I was restructuring my life and trying to turn around my career while I was at a digital agency I won’t name. It especially helped because it gave me an efficient routine for applying for jobs in a way that didn’t make me feel like I wasn’t doing enough even though I was. I wake up to alerts on one search, I apply. Before I sleep I get alerts on a different, more specialized search, I apply. Rinse and repeat with other methods.
