At least they should refund it, send emails and spam them?
Why do you have to do it? I mean can’t the person whose flight ticket it is do it?
because this person will apparently be paying us to do this for them…but given that my boss never charges her friends anything i seriously doubt that will happen.
Fuck that dude I’d tell her to do it herself or just not put in any fucking effort whatsoever cause you aren’t someone else’s bitch let alone a fucking secretary
I’d chew my wrists
but i am a secretary…way over qualified for this but i am still one
Ok I have been there, I still emailed whilst on the phone secretly, cos otherwise it would have never been resolved.
oh well a further cog in the wheel now is this woman has sent me the booking reference and ticket details… its for a flight last year…my boss told me its for a flight this year… FFS.
All she needed to do last year was just cancle the booking online… but no lets wait almost a year to ask for a f-ing refund
She aint getting that…
How do you not lose your shit with these people?
actually het ek nou op SAA se website gaan rondspeel en hulle is onder business rescue so hulle process geen refunds op die oomblik nie.
https://www.flysaa.com/flight-suspension-policy
maak my moerig
oh i do, but they are never here to see me loose my shit
Ek het so iets vermoed, maar was nie seker nie. Ek weet hulle is onder business rescue, so dis wat in die agterkant van my kop was. Onder business rescue kan jy vergeet van jou geld, hulle betaal eers groot skuld af
@wenzdayz ! I found another doppelgänger! It’s crazy. I don’t feel so unique anymore.
It’s from this article:https://mybroadband.co.za/news/government/395031-legal-action-against-foolish-and-illegal-importation-of-cuban-engineers.html
The guy on the left looks so much like me it’s crazy.
When was it booked? Why anyone would have booked a flight with SAA any time in the last 18 months is beyond me - the SAA collapse was obvious.
Local or international? SAA are officially not flying domestically until 30 June, and internationally until end October according to their own Travel Advisory:
Travel Advisory - South African Airways (flysaa.com)
Additionally, the same page (under the “Am I Allowed a Refund” FAQ) will tell your boss and her daft mate that “We are unable to assist with refunds at this time of business rescue. Please retain your ticket as it would be used as a credit when we are back.” At most, they’ll get a credit for future flight, and only when /if SAA come out of business rescue.
Besides that, they’ve retrenched thousands of staff, have struggled to pay those that are left, and are technically still under business rescue conditions. I genuinely think that there are very few, if any, staff in their ticket sales offices and call centres.
The most I’d do if maybe try an online cancellation, and see what happens:
https://www.flysaa.com/manage-fly/manage/booking-management/cancel-a-booking
ETA: LOLs. I typed that ages ago, but didn’t click to post it for some reason. Did now, and then discovered that you’d found the same page in the interim.
ja hey i have tried all of the above… but i also send and email to their refunds email and got a response from there with all this info and told her she can give this to the friend…my boss should be declared as a delinquent. She should not be in charge of any company or its funds.
Coincidentally, while we’re on the subject of struggling SA airlines:
The tourism sector is still mostly f**ked. But hey, at least we can buy beer to drown our sorrows. Well, we could if we had any money
Meh, was at the police station. Someone decided to drive into the back of me. I guess its pointless asking them why did you do it?
