Morning all.
Eish, that kinda sucks @Donisia. I hate it when they treat the human body like a machine and “troubleshoot”, but I spose sometimes it has to be done. Will be keeping you guys in thought and prayers that the doctors diagnose and come to a comclusion and a way forward as effectively and quickly as possible.
I have no office bound meetings today, just catching up on some work as I now have a shitload of work to be done before the German heavy hitters arive next week.

@Shrike: The more bandwidth available, the cheaper it becomes. So point 2 should eventually get better. I’ve got nothing for point 1, my poor parents live less than 3 km from the president, but don’t have fibre yet.
@Donisia Hope he gets sorted soon, it’s a sucky process to be in.

They actually don’t, but we’re not sure if its due to the proximity to Number One, or the major hospital that is even closer.

Hmm… so we have a big boss coming down from Germany to meet the team, a bunch of 1-on-1 meetings have been scheduled along with a whole two day agenda of the teams and individuals meets and intros etc.
In the communication from my CEO on the agenda, is listed all the persons in teams and their respective roles, and I noticed my role as “Design Lead”.
How does a lead differ to a “senior”, to which I thought was my designation?
PS: am I even making sense? 
The more I read it I feel like I am not.

Where X = Design in your case:
X Lead usually means the person in charge of whatever X is and also sometimes, (if it is not done by a BA) the project manager for whatever X is involved in. In other instances where X is used across multiple projects, the X lead is in charge of resource assignment (who in department X) for those projects.
Very different to “Senior X”.

75%. Top problem where I’m losing the iron is looking much better. May need to stay on the meds for a lot longer, but worth it. Bottom problem where I’m losing the blood is better, but not fixed. Trying combination of meds and diet changes that’ll take a while to show if they’re working or not. Am hopefully. Feeling much stronger than last week and back in the lecture room again this week. Thanks for asking.
