I’ve used paintballs in the past, which work ok, but water seems to have a more long-standing effect, especially on the monkeys.

wow what an eventful weekend. so our siamese cat went missing 3 weeks ago. she was NOT outdoorsey (we have a small “garden” area in our complex with high walls, and because she was older (about 9 years old) and neutered was pretty much a housecat). just upped and disappeared one night while loadshedding was on. (i know this specifically because we were unable to check the cameras to see where she went or what happened).
My wife was rather distraught…the cat either went somewhere to die or had been abducted (we have stories from ppl in our area where quite a number of siamese have gone missing in the last few months). long story short we got a rescue kitty and she quickly got used to the house.
So saturday morning we wake up, go downstairs to make tea…and there is siamese…just sitting outside the sliding door.
The frikking cat came back! D: 
now i have 2 cats…and they dont seem to get along. coz the “new” cat thinks they’re the “old” cat and the old cat is just ignoring them and going right back into her routine of sleeping in her spots. Guess it’ll take a few weeks before they become tolerant of each other.
that and we had loadshedding last night which means i missed both the formula 1 and the csgo major grand final :’(
but kitty came back! <3

There’s definitely something in the air. My sinus was at its worse on Saturday. Usually my sneezes come in 3s. This weekend, it was more like in 6s and much more violent.

Going through a bit of a tough time but will persevere! Just all the stress from all the house stuff and the work and I wake up in the mornings a bit down. But it’ll pass.

She was probably in a neighbours house for the past couple of weeks. Siamese cats have a habit of doing stuff like that. So glad she came back though!
My neighbours one siamese moved into my house for 2 months only for them to hear me talking to the cat and then realising the cat was not missing but simply living with me to the absolute disgust of my 2 siamese i may add.
Female siamese kitties do struggle to bond to other cats especially other females…so they may take quite a while longer than you would expect. It took Lumen a whole year to accept Lucy after we got her when Lois passed away and Lumen refused to come into the house for the first month, she would only come in if the other cat was not in sight.
