Its just turning into a day
the father figure hasnt stopped moaning about their weekend away (everything was horrible)
mum just had a minor fender bender - very minor and the guy she hit was parked infront of our driveway, luckily his wheel trim on top of the wheel, hers is a minor paint scratch on the boot door of the ecosport.
And i managed to scratch my wheel arch on a wooden box in the garage.

Considering I almost took a sledgehammer to it (I have been asking them to find a better place for the box - its stands on the top step and the box hangs over the edge and one of the dogs must have knocked it out even further and I have lovely deep scratches)

A friend of mine has one of those air coolers that use water and a fan to blow cold air into a room. It worked well enough to impress me and is the fraction of the price of an air conditioner, so I went to Game today to buy one.
It’s portable, so I can use it in the study or in the bedroom when we go to sleep, and it doesn’t have a cumbersome pipe like portable air conditioners either.

I had a friend with one of those. They weren’t too bad, but don’t forget, I’m Canadian. I thrive on cold. I also have a portable aircon but the blower fan is toast.
Those air coolers are still more expensive than getting my split unit installed, at least from the last quote I had. But if there are any problems (like damage to the unit(s)), I’ll consider one of these.

just spent an hour in traffic…a pedestrian or motorcyclist was nocked down just after the offramp I use to get on the highway… it was a fatal accident so most lanes were closed.
