Anyone know of a Microsoft sales or person with in microsoft that can assist with a business query i have in regards to a VDI system
Unfortunately I cant
Antibiotics and/or penicillin should clear that right up.
Morning you sexy fuckers
Hey all.
Are you the kind of person who, when they get a gift or a delivery…:
A: Opening it, preserving the packaging.
B: Go at it like a barbarian!
Gift: shred if wrapped, keep the box/giftbag if it is that
Delivery: keep the box
Boxes can store things and giftbags can be used again. It is not uncommon for me to get comments that the giftbag someone gets from me is one they used for me in the past
Snap same here altho I threw out a bunch of boxes after replacing them with nice containers
hallo’s everybody
so listen can some of you graphic design fundies give me advice on how to get my damned graphic designer who is doing our letterheads and business cards to give them to me in a format where i can change the text? i dont want to change the design and layout. ALL i want to do is add contact numbers or email addresses etc. Also my boss is now also starting a law firm and the law frms’ letterhead must reflect the names of all directors and associates etc, however i want to be able to add more ppl as time goes by and not have to wait a whole week for them to not change anything correctly.
After buying a ton of appliances and moving in together, we have definitely thrown away some boxes (of course we keeping a few boxes for warranty purposes, and keeping a few boxes that can be used…but we throwing away a whole bunch). But i think I’m mostly with @Shrike on this one. giftbags/boxes can be re-used, wrapping paper/takealot box thingies no care.
Howdy everyone! So I went back to the “dark side” of smartphones today. I opted to forego Apple and get back to Android after being on my iPhone 7+ for 4 years. It feels… liberating.
I open things carefully don’t particularly keep the boxes I just like being careful.
@wenzdayz It sounds like they want you to depend on them so any change you want they can bill you for.
@FarligOpptreden What about the whole apple ecosystem thing. Easy to ditch?
that is exactly it…however i feel we have paid for the concept and design now give me access to it.
Do you have a written contract with them for the design? I can sort of understand his position, though. It should be agreed upon before hand that you’ll need the files.
Have they provided anything digital at all? Like if you have a PNG or something, you could just photoshop text over it…
As a last resort (and don’t lead with this), you could just ask how much it would cost to get the editable files.
you see this i dont know because my boss likes giving ppl work and asks questions only after…now she wants business cards printed and they didnt put her cell no on the cards or her email, she wants the cards printed today still…
i have already reworked what i could but the business cards i cannot change as the image quality then goes…
Sounds like the designer has the upper hand then… Wish I had some better advice for ya. Maybe ask them “What will it take to get the source files?”
woah that bad ><
What ecosystem? I only have an Apple Music subscription and I can easily use it on the new Android device as well (I’ve already set it up). The only thing I’ll miss is my Apple Watch (old 2 series), but I’ll look into an Android friendly offering later on, as I don’t use the watch all that often anymore.
O snap I need too have a look at this
