Do you give likes to just like or do you also give likes to support? This is from a discussion that came up this morning in Offbeat … Off Topic.
I feel odd giving a like when the content of the post isn’t “happy”.
Just to like
To like and support
I don’t give likes

I don’t give likes to sad or negative things. Also, there’s a limit to how many likes we can give so I’m sometimes selective of what I like

I didn’t realise there was a limit to the amount of like that can be given. I guess I haven’t tried hard enough.

I use likes in 2 ways - to say yes I like what you wrote. Or sometimes when I dont have a replay but wanna show support or sympathy I like aka heart a post- sending virtual luffs
