It just sucks that they didn’t fix the broken contaminated zone where you have to jump on pipes and climb all the way up

Cool ideas - it was working fine less than 2 weeks ago , so I doubt that is the reason

Noob question.
Got to level 30 - finished the True Sons stronghold. Character level doesn’t show up, just world tier and Black Tusk invasion. Where did my level go and WTF do I do next?
Do levels (30+) only go on when you do the expansion or how does it work?

Level 30 is the max “level” for the non expansion. From here you have 5 world tiers to go through for better gear, each tier has harder mobs and drops loot of a better gear score.
If you buy the expansion then you get access to another 10 levels and a new playing field in NY with some more story. If you do this then the world tiers stop becoming a thing and you have instead a world difficulty level you set, which then determine how hard the mobs are and the quality of loot at level 40. Just note that if you get the expansion and go to NY, you cannot leave it until you finish the actual story, DC will be locked out for you.
From there you enter the newest play loop in the game, which is hunting for gear of specific types for specific builds. This is done by doing activities in certain areas/missions which have a much higher chance of dropping loot types: armour, weapons etc. You still have to contend with the black tusk invasions once a week, which you have to get through in certain missions to be able to do certain strongholds.
There are also the side missions: the zoo, coney island, pentagon etc to do for gear as well

If you need any help running the strongholds to go up in world tier (no expansion) or to do some of the NY missions (some are pretty hard), or anything in Div2, let me know.

This is how far I am just that area and strongholds left to do.
I do want to go back into each area and find the collectables still. I have loads missing.
Also I see this when at the base:

Nope, it says that even if you do not have it, I think there is a setting to disable it, but I can’t remember.
Once you go talk to the guy, there is a huge popup that’s like: “buy the new expansion now!!”

It’s just a push from them trying to incentivise you to buy it. I too have that and when I went there it just implores you to “purchase” and takes you to the store.

Yup, mine ran through the day yesterday. Luckily at 100Mbps line speed it was done quite quickly. 
twice as fast on 200mb 
For some reason I wasn’t one of the lucky recipients of the Afrihost / Vumatel doubling of line speed the past month. I signed up for a 100/100 line and I’m still on that. Oh well, it’s still fast enough I suppose.

did you check your cables?
I thought I was skipped too, turns out the little yellow cable that came with the fibre box is only a Cat5. Swapped it out and got my upgrade
Took me 5 hours to download, radio tower internet 
As usual, they broke about the same amount of things as they fixed. I would love a glimpse at their fault ticket system internally.
Hmmm… I don’t have any other network cables lying around and I can’t really go out and buy a new one. So if I’m being throttled by my cable then I guess that’s that.
yeah I use/have 3 cables: 1 for the ONT, 1 for work PC and 1 for my PC.
The PC’s have Cat5E cables… Work PC doesn’t need 200mb right now
