I donāt know myself. Just last month when Bernie said something similar Seb was quick to shut the rumor down. This time, not so much? Could be accurate I guess - no smoke without fire, etc.
I think his Ferrari contract is through the end of 2020 though, so maybe another year as a final attempt before all the big 2021 changes come in?
If he does go this year I think Bottas is the obvious target for Ferrari. His Merc contract is up at the end of this season and if they donāt tie him down to an extension soon heāll be a strong contender for the seat. Especially if Lewis isnāt going anywhere and the team (despite what they say publicly) continues to see him as āWingman Valtteriā.
I havent stumbled onto this rumour just yet. It wouldnt surprise me, but I know he is signed till end 2020
Bottaās or Max to Ferrari. Most likely Bottas
I dont see Kimi going past 2020. He is already the oldest driver on the track. And as much as I love him, he is under performing and we need more new blood.
Depends on whether Lewis decides heās had enough of winning, and wants more struggles in his life. Honestly, why move other than to tick the āI drove for Ferrariā box? He wonāt commit for a long stay, and Ferrari will need to fork out a stupid amount of money to even get him there. Not worth it for either party, imho.
Lewis has shown interesting in driving for Ferrari to check the āWas a Ferrari driverā box, but first he wants to hunt down titles 6 & 7. This may mean (and honestly this is what I think is going to happen), than Hamilton will run out his contract at Mercedes and sign a short 2-3 year deal with Ferrari to just top off his career before retiring and working on āBrand Hamiltonā
Thatās exactly my point though. Great for Lewis, but does it make sense for Ferrari? If they have the fastest car and he can win a championship or two, sure. But if theyāre still struggling, a short stint from an almost-retired Hamilton may just damage both their brands.
I AM GOING TO SPA! I am so excited. By a weird coming together of circumstances I managed to make a trip to spa work for the F1. It is absolute at the top of my bucket list and I am beyond excited. I do not think I will believe it until I am there.
I got lucky that my friend and I were invited to Germany. So we will be spending time there without the need to worry about food or lodging. Then we will spend about a week in Belgium to go to Spa.
The initial planning is putting it around R25k
that is for flights, f1 ticket and accommodation in Belgium for 7-10 days
