So would you rather not have a British GP, or have it somewhere else? if so, where?
Brands Hatch
I just never loved Silverstone, I had the opportunity to go watch F1 whilst in the UK (ended up working those weekends so I couldnt go, but on one occasion had the chance to swop shifts to see it and I just couldnt be bothered).
Also if I could bring back tracks:
Classic tracks, both.
Both are tracks I want to see, as well as Spa.
The one day dream start the f1 season and follow them around the world. Best way to see the world
Old hockenheim…but i think i’m alone on that one
Nope I would love that! It was a scary track but heck it was good
I think Brands Hatch is a bit narrow for F1.
Great track though. Thinking about it, not many of my favourites would be particularly good for F1.
Most old tracks wont make it now, the aero and sizes of the cars make that impossible. But a girl can dream cant she
Nope, loved that one too. The shorter version is sterile by comparison.
I too have a dream…
On the bright side though, F1 at Brands Hatch is far more likely than Nordshleife.
True, but Brands Hatch is 11miles further from me than Silverstone
I want to do this 2.
I logged on to post that.
You are Mr F1…
And this after they (Rich Energy) just lost a court case for deliberate patent infringement. Sounds like a stupidly feeble excuse to back out of what was clearly not going to be a sustainable deal going forward.
Honestly. Haas is a legendary name in American racing. The US basically runs F1 now. How the frack did they end up striking a deal with an eccentric Brit that runs a company almost no one has ever heard of? One with delusions of grandeur nogal? Was there not a single US company willing to back the only team flying the American flag in F1?
There aren’t enough superlatives to describe the absurdity of all this.
Crazy.
