I suspect the current merc and red bull are not cars that will do well in the midfield where one need to follow someone else. If one looks at the German race Hamilton could also not really get past anyone very fast. He was just lucky to get points. And that is the reason I would not easily get rid of Gasly or Bottas.
Hamilton and max are just on a different level just think back to when Hamilton started. That is just my 2cents

I see we going to have more races next year

Ugh. More engine penalties. Can’t they just accept that it was an idiotic idea and move on?

As much as I like the idea of 22 races, how the heck will the smaller teams cope - that is one of the big issues that they struggle with - is gonna become expensive

it is already expensive and that reason why they keeping the rules for only 3 engines in a season

Yeah I believe Claire Williams was one of the people that did not agree with the 22-race season. So wonder how they convinced her.

Hahahhaa Sainz for the win man!

It’s still a stupid rule. At some point, the drivers title will be decided by an engine penalty. Not a wheel-to-wheel straight fight for the win like it should be.

On a more positive note, I just love this new McLaren. They would never have done stuff like this in the Ron Dennis days.

Ouch for Gasly… Red Bull pulls another mid season move lol. Great for Albon though

I am happy for Albon. I think he might be a good fit. He is still a rookie, but really did well in Germany in conditions he has never raced in.
Daniil probably does not want the pressure and will do well at STR partnered with GAsly.

Bit of an ouch for Gasly, but it was coming and in all fairness he was pushed in due to a shortage of drivers in the RBR stable
