On the other hand, Russell taking the Williams and getting consistent points in 2020 would likely do wonders for his career.

maybe red bull should get him to race max.
Iâd say put him in a Mercedes and make him race Bottas for a seat there
Toto is happy to keep him at Williams for now. They want him to gain experience without the pressure of racing for a front running team. Just look at what Red Bull have done to their young drivers.

That was my exact sentiment a few weeks back! The last thing I want is a talented driver being wasted. However, I have since then been informed of his Merc connection and that puts me at ease. But when Claire Williams tells the world they have him for 3 seasons it might be too late for him to score a Merc seat and have missed out. Remember Occon is also knocking on that door!
I rate they should put all the supposed top guns in the current gen Williams and let them race it out around the track. Wonât ever happen but would have been fun to see.
Ocon will get a Merc seat sooner rather than later. Maybe even next year. Russell will get his turn once Hamilton moves on, or if Ocon doesnât deliver.
Theyâre calling it the Kymiring? Is it shaped like an ice cream cone?

Looks very Tilke-ish, but thankfully he has not had his hands on this project. It does look like a good course with some homages to other tracks (there seems to be some Silverstone, China and Japan in the design)

Having read up on it though, it appears the Finns arenât interested in hosting F1 due to the cost. It will be used for MotoGP from next year.
