After the whole Alain Prost thing, they now have some sites that aren’t listed as credible sources anymore over at the F1 reddit.
I missed the Alain Prost thing - what happened
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
i really wanted fresh blood in that team
Whoopsie! Where will Hulk go? Maybe a return to WEC?
Up date on Juan Manuel Correa from his Instagram account yesterday:
Juan Manuel Correa:
Juan Manuel Correa remains in the Intensive Care Unit in a state of induced coma. Although his lungs have gradually recovered, his respiratory functions continue to be assisted by ECMO and a breathing ventilator. Juan Manuel’s leg injuries remain an important concern and will undergo immediate surgery once his lungs are strong enough to withstand the procedure. More information will be provided when available.

I saw that, I hope he recovers.
Here’s something we don’t get to see too often (found on Reddit)
Other tidbits coming in from Singapore:
- Ferrari have new Front and Rear Wing assemblies.
- Sergio Perez is unwell. Suffering with a bout of dodgy tummy, the poor boy. Been released from media duties for the day and sent to his hotel to recuperate.
- A 3rd DRS zone has been added to the circuit for the race - will have the details in the Preview Post in a bit.
Oh, and…
- Unconfirmed, but highly probable, story that Robert Kubica will not be getting a renewed contract fromWilliams for 2020. Official announcement by Friday expected.
Please please let it help with their cornering. Otherwise the last race will be their last win for the season.
I wonder if they’ll sign Hulkenberg or whether the other young guy (starts with an L I think) will get the position.
Nicholas Latifi. Good question. Hulk has almost no options left; unless Seb retires or Red Bull consider him for their second seat.
As the current Test and Reserve driver for Williams, and performing pretty well in the F2 Championship this year (currently P2, with 4 wins so far) Latifi is a definite possibility for the seat.
That said, I’m still curious to see if anything comes out of his father’s company’s £200-million investment in the McLaren Group. Maybe a season or two at Williams, and if he copes, a move to Macca in 2022?
Confirmed. Kubica out.
That was a given, I think Williams thought he could maybe bring more money?
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
That’s a bit uncalled for. The fact that he was able to come back at all is quite a feat. Based on how often he was faster than Stroll and Sirotkin last year, you can hardly blame Williams for giving him a shot. It didn’t work out, so let’s move on. Not many people have what it takes to drive those cars, let alone someone who nearly lost a limb in an accident.
Was just reading that. personally, I think he’s done with F1, at least for the immediate future.
