Great race, especially the last two or three laps again, thanks to Norris.

I want to see the Stroll overtake on Ricciardo again, I think STR didn’t get it cleanly and needs a penalty.

Hahaha, robotic trophy tables! Was that there last week?

Lando my boy! I almost fell asleep in the middle there but he woke me up at the end!

I really rate that laaitie!

Not quite as epic a race as last week, but the once off Styrian Grand Prix was reasonably memorable. Lewis all class all weekend. Loved the racing happening behind the Mercs and RBulls. Top marks to Sergio, Lando, Carlos and DRic for those closing laps. And great 2 final laps from VB and Max for the P2/P3 position. And the less said about Ferrari, the better.

What a last lap from lando. I have no words for ferrari, perez did well, felt bad for ocon.

We used my f1 app to stream and I must say it did good. Our dstv now didn’t want to log in

I can’t wait to see him in a tier A car.

McLaren will be soon enough!

Forgot to mention, I back Leclerc all the way after the Brazilian GP. That was Vettel giving him the squeeze. This time Charles showed his inexperience and impatience, similar to Monaco 2019. If he can be patient and calculated he can be brilliant, like he was last week.

Also used the app on my phone and even though it chowed through data it worked very well. Was happy that I could watch the race.

Gutted for Ocon. Happy that the midfield is so much stronger. Will we see McLaren and Racing Point beat the Red Bull cars soon? I won’t be surprised.

I think this race was a much better indication of what the season is going to be; Merc and Lewis domination, Verstappen just behind them, super close mid field fighting, Ferrari dissapointment, Williams getting better. All those points came true, and could’ve been a summary of predictions for the 2020 season.

Lewis showed exactly why he is the best driver once again. By far in a class of his own.

Verstappen and Bottas had a good scrap, and Verstappen defended like a tiger, but the damage to his wing was just too severe.

Lando drove again a crazy last few laps. McLaren made the inspired choice to swap Carlos and Lando, and Lando gave them the position, while Carlos brought home the fastest lap. McLaren is coming along really nicely as a team, and now just needs to up their race pace and we’ll see them at the front once again.

Perez drove a cracker of a race. Shame about that pass on Albon that didn’t stick and broke his front wing. Watch as he upsets many more races this year.

Stroll did well I feel. So many people diss him, but he’s a decent driver, and gave DRic plenty of problems on track.

Shame about Russell going off on the restart, he could’ve done well, but the Williams is not there yet. They do show a lot more pace than before, but still awhile before we see them in the points.

Overall not a bad race at all. I think it was impossible to follow last week’s classic, but today was not a bad race at all.

This. Really dig this guy, add to that his personality. Brings some freshness to F1

Interesting that you put it this way, where I’d have given props to to RIC for showing his skill at defending intelligently. In my opinion Perez showed that the Racing Point has a straight power advantage over the Renault, but still STR couldn’t get past cleanly…

I’ll be the first to admit, though, that a) STR is streets ahead of where he was in previous years, and 2) I’m a massive RIC fanboy

I have been waiting for that, but the commentators said the car was approved by the FIA so no idea what will happen

The FIA have impounded the Racing Point brake ducts, specifically, and requested the same from Mercedes. They did that, and then went to dinner, so the real work will happen at Hungary.

We had loadshedding 3pm-6pm so I stayed off the internet and caught the 8pm repeat.

…very almost turned off tv after the first lap…I’m seriously thinking of becoming a mclaren fan. definitely already a norris fan…but i can’t take this fucking red team seriously anymore :frowning:
