They say that Merc is going black again for their livery. I guess then they wouldn’t even have to bother with any paint at all

Glad they kept the Ferrari name on the rear wing like they had on the special livery. Looks even better with that there.

Hey, it’s the middle of the night somewhere…

I’m liking all the black and red bits on the cars we’ve seen so far, but that Ferrari Rosso red will always be the sexiest colour on a car.

Agreed - I hope it stays for the season.

“Hope”. Is that English for “Scuderia”?

Yeah, I’m with uncle Greg on this one. I think Vasseur will do wonders for the team, but not this year yet.

Interesting, they are keeping the slimboi vent, time will tell I suppose. Then again their car became quite competitive towards the end of the season last year regardless.

A welcome return to the black - and the weight saving carbon fibre that’s all the rage on the F1 fashion ramps this season. And looking very sexy too. Loving the yellow accents.

“This time, the livery was picked with performance in mind. A close inspection reveals much of the livery is actually bare carbon fiber, similar to how early Mercedes race cars were stripped of their white paint to save weight, leaving the bare aluminum which in turn led to the Silver Arrows name.”

one more to go with Alpine tomorrow, and then we wait for testing(where nothing will happen but at least we can see how the cars seem to be handling), which we’ll probably see some differences in some cars. Especially those that just gave liveries.

So when is F1TV getting that subscription special…or is there no such thing and the “special” is just the slightly reduced price for the year long one.
