I suspect his sponsor’s money is more than what they would win. And remember Red Bull is a marketing company. So he probably doing badly so that everyone speaks about Red Bull and the team.

Sort of expected. Happy for him, seems like a right good bloke.

Yep. Seems crazy, can you imagine Rwanda gets an F1 before RSA?

BIG…

If that was his final audition for the Merc seat, he failed. Hard. Still reckon Toto made a tactical blunder not convincing Sainz to sign for Merc and getting Antonelli into the Williams seat for two years.

Guess not. So their minds was already made up, that was just literal free practice. Well, it wasn’t free coz it came at a cost. But that cost wasn’t his career, just a Merc.

Yip. And I guess that’s why I’m not a hugely successful, multiple championship winning, multimillionaire F1 team owner and manager. :grinning:

So, what 2025 seats are still left to be confirmed? Just one at Sauber and one at VCARB?

Surprising no one:

Nice way for the youngster to get an unofficial ā€œpre-season testā€ in with his team for next year :grinning:. A tricky circuit for it though. If he can cope with the fiddly bits through Sector 2, he may be able to use the long straight to push the Haas’ straight line speed. Either way, should be a good learning weekend for both driver and team.
