Such a massive responsibility! We shall do our best.
No offence, that doesnt look like a rim issue from Vettel, that looked like a front suspension failure
And itâs GO,GO,GO!!! Erm, the track is green, I mean.
Plenty of activity in the first 30 mins or so; everyone has been out except (maybe somewhat worryingly), Red Bull. Hopefully they havenât been delayed too badly by the damage from Gaslyâs crash yesterday. They need all the running they can get if we want to have that three-way fight at the front.

I beg your pardon?

Ugh, I wish they would format this into something other than a paragraph. I prefer the column view.
Bottas has gone fastest, by the way.
I am worried about that Williams - at this rate we might see them at the end of the pack at the back of every race, and might even fall short of the 107% rule if the faster guys go even faster
They might not have gone for out and out pace as yet; they are 2 days behind everyone else in understanding the car.
Also, Sainz just did McLarenâs first sub-1:17 time, a 1:16.9 on the C5. Bottas just did the same time, but on the C4.
The McLaren looks good on track, the few vids I have watched it doesnt look twitchy. The toro rosso and redbulls look a bit twitchy, same for the mercs and williams looks like a snail.
A 1:16.352 for Vettel, on what appears to be the C4 tyre. Thatâs quick!
EDIT: Scratch that, it was apparently the C5. Still quite rapid though.

The latest from Lewis Hamiltonâs press briefing
"The last couple of days have been particularly good, we have been improving every day.
"Testing is testing. Thereâs no reward for being quick in Testing.
"Ferrari are the fastest.
"This is going to be the toughest battle yet.
âFerrariâs pace is very, very good at the moment. The challenge is going to be harder than ever.â
T he latest from Lewis Hamiltonâs press briefing
"I think the gap [to Ferrari] is potentially half a second. But we donât know because everyone has different engine modes and fuel loads.
âIt will be four races before we really know where we stand.â
Thatâs quite alarming, if true⊠Assuming youâre not a Ferrari fan, of course.
We revealed Lewis Hamiltonâs eyebrow-raising comments to the media moments ago, and the world champion expanded to the written press.
-
He doesnât recall Ferrari having this big an advantage - he says half a second - before
-
He said it looks like Ferrari started developing a month before Mercedes, possibly a month. âWe donât mind a challenge. Weâve got a hill to climb but we know how to do it.â
-
No plans to change concept of W10 but he says Ferrari may have right philosophy. W10 not performing optimal at testing.
-
No reasons to expect 0.5s margin to come down for Melbourne. It could go up, it could go down.
Vettel improves again
Marginally so, but the fastest lap time of the final day now stands at a 1:16.333 from Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari.
That was the start of another short stint, with the German driver swiftly retreating to the pits.
