Where do you go on holiday? Do you go on a tour? Visit one specific location?
And no, you can’t use the money for anything but the holiday. It’s not to be used to buy tech and such. 
R50k is quite low to fund a holiday abroad for a week… Just the airfare and visa costs would eat up a huge chunk of that, especially if you’re not going alone.
Either way, I’ll take the money and go to Northern Europe - Norway, Sweden or Finland will do. I’m just not sure the money will last a week, maybe 3 days.
You know how bosses are. They can be really stingy at times.
I’d go to Finland. Glass igloos in the snow to watch the Northern Lights.
Easy, for R50k I’d go to Thornybush Chapungu Luxury Tented Camp, just outside of the Kruger National Park. You don’t need to go out of the country to see some truly magnificent views, experience pampered luxury and spend time out in the wild, away from work, away from all the problems. Just you and nature and a full 5-star luxury experience. R50k would actually get you maybe just 6 days there, but then you can count one day for travel.

I’d take the family on a road trip through South Africa - there are so many amazing places in this country, and many hidden gems. I’ve always loved the idea of road tripping, not having a set destination but just exploring.
Id take a trip to Bali or Thailand - not that I have a beach body or anything, but its far away enough that my brother and I can actually get away without work following him for once. You can get a decent place to stay for R15k per person, so the extra will be for food and other expenses.
I’d pack a tent and camping gear into my car, drop the kids off with Granny and head up onto the Caprivi Strip in Namibia. Camp and Tiger fish. I love Africa
I like the Finland idea too. Northern lights by night, pond hockey by day! Would have to be when they have normal night/days obviously, hoping there’s ice then.

See for local, I want to just go to either Yzerfontein - a place on the cliffs over the water to watch the storms roll in, in the winter. Maybe Port Owen, Patrenoster, Even Dwarskersbos
it has to be an island for me, i would say seychelles but thats close to somali pirates and i want to go on a holiday to relax not to get my ass captured and tortured, mauritius only look good in pictures so thats a no go, so i’ll go to the maildives plenty of 1 week packages in the 20-30k region
