Ya, I’d love to get both eventually, but I doubt I’ll have anything next gen (console or GPU, both mine are late 2013), and at this point, that’s the only way I would consider it. And that would only be if EA apologizes

Mass Effect is far and away the best space opera we’ve had in the gaming medium.
The first Mass Effect game did drag in places (ugh, Mako).
Mass Effect 2 was a masterpiece.
Mass Effect 3 was brilliant, until the end (like many space operas… I’m looking at you Battlestar Galactica!)

Agree 100% and I don’t even like Space Operas.
I remember playing Mass Effect 1 on my newly acquired Xbox 360 back in the day and it was so damn good.
For me:
Mass Effect 1 is a superb RPG with alright shooting mechanics / gameplay.
Mass Effect 2 is the perfect balance between RPG and shooter.
Mass Effect 3 is a great shooter with alright RPG elements and disappointing conclusion.
