Edit: Should have watched it first. This is actually for the next game!

Hmmm… If it is on Frostbyte again, I’ll wait until it is on special. More looking forward to the legendary edition at this stage.

Ya, I’d love to get both eventually, but I doubt I’ll have anything next gen (console or GPU, both mine are late 2013), and at this point, that’s the only way I would consider it. And that would only be if EA apologizes

Mass Effect is far and away the best space opera we’ve had in the gaming medium.
The first Mass Effect game did drag in places (ugh, Mako).
Mass Effect 2 was a masterpiece.
Mass Effect 3 was brilliant, until the end (like many space operas… I’m looking at you Battlestar Galactica!)

Agree 100% and I don’t even like Space Operas.
I remember playing Mass Effect 1 on my newly acquired Xbox 360 back in the day and it was so damn good.
For me:
Mass Effect 1 is a superb RPG with alright shooting mechanics / gameplay.
Mass Effect 2 is the perfect balance between RPG and shooter.
Mass Effect 3 is a great shooter with alright RPG elements and disappointing conclusion.

Good news
Now only if they could get Casey Hudson as director again, the next game could be a surefire hit.

I still need to play all three.

Do it. The legendary edition has all the DLCs. Well worth it to grab it on sale.

Guess this is the most appropriate ME thread for this…
Centuries after the Reaper War. A disillusioned ex-N7 joins Matriarch Liara as an agent of the Shadow Broker. Shepherding a galaxy towards stability during turbulent times, and making the hard choices that no one else can to save the universe… A Bioware dev leaked the cancelled Mass Effect 5 game trailer, which may have been shown officially during N7 Day 2026. It looks incredible! Lets save Mass Effect #masseffect #bioware #eagames

I still, still need to play the series.

Don’t do it, don’t make me hope, unless someone can come up with the cash to support a new Mass Effect, we won’t be seeing another one.

I dunno, I’m very conflicted. I love Mass Effect as much as the next fan, but that trailer did absolutely nothing for me. It really does feel like a bit of a last-ditch effort. I can kinda see why the powers that be decided to can it and shutter BioWare. It’s sad, but it’s a business after all. The had 2 massive (and expensive) flops back to back and their new project didn’t seem very inspiring.
