We are paying labour staff directly, rather than through the subcontractor (sorry, we dont trust labour subbies). So in Elliotdale in the Eastern Cape we are trying to find some with bank accounts so that they can draw money and give to each other.
I said that tis is not promoting social distancing.
The reply was “Elliotdale as a while is practising social distancing from the country due its remote location.”
I LOL’d too hard…
We ended up doing cash sends to cell numbers instead.
