I finally got to play PS5 and Astroā€™s Playroom last night.

Even though itā€™s not my kind of game itā€™s a nice way to show off everything that the controller can do. And wow it really is impressive whatā€™s packed into the controller. However, I couldnā€™t make it through one eveningā€™s gaming without the batteries dying completely. I googled it a bit and apparently itā€™s only games like Astroā€™s Playroom that uses a lot of the controller that causes it to drain so quickly. But I see the battery life is really not good on the controllers.

The controllers feel more premium than the XBox Series controllers but itā€™s not nearly as comfortable. In the ideal world one would like the Series controllers with triggers of the PS5 controllers. The Series controllers I charge once a week and asymmetrical thumbsticks just feel so much nicer.

Besides the controller difference the only really difference is the interface of the console. PS can really do with Quick Resume. Itā€™s amazing how you miss it when itā€™s not there anymore. XBox can really do with some of the settings that the PS has. I mean I can select that I want inverted Y and it will use it in different games. I love that!

It also looks like the PS is more user friendly, especially for people who arenā€™t technically inclined but the XBox allows for a lot more customisation. Almost an Apple vs Windows thing going on here.

Will start Demonā€™s Souls today. Canā€™t wait! Demonā€™s Souls and Bloodborne are the two biggest reasons for finally getting the PS5.

I FINALLY ordered my PS5 from KooDoo last night. Expecting delivery either Thursday or Friday. The timing couldnā€™t be better as my annual leave also starts on Friday. I cannot wait to get my hands on it.

First game Iā€™m going to play is Demonā€™s Souls - I even bought a physical copy so long already. Itā€™s basically the main reason Iā€™m getting the console now.

Because the sites always crash or pages timeout but the time you add it to your cart and manage to get to checkout.
