Yellowjackets was well done 8/10 - soooooooo many questions
I couldn’t get into episode 1 of station 11, but that is more because I really didn’t enjoy the book
Expanse final season - 8/10 - Happy and Sad at the same time that this has ended. Still so many questions but now I can finally read the books.
There were a few points that had me scratching my head - Laconia specifically. Also I kinda expected more for that space battle

Amazon Studios’ forthcoming series brings to screens for the very first time the heroic legends of the fabled Second Age of Middle-earth’s history. This epic drama is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and will take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness.
Beginning in a time of relative peace, the series follows an ensemble cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared re-emergence of evil to Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of the elf-capital of Lindon, to the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor, to the furthest reaches of the map, these kingdoms and characters will carve out legacies that live on long after they are gone.
Stars Benjamin Walker, Peter Mullan, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Trystan Gravelle, Maxim Baldry, Augustus Prew, Charles Edwards, Lenny Henry.
Season 1 of The Rings of Power streams on Amazon Prime Video from 2 September.
I watched another Korean series called Strangers from Hell. It was solid, but a bit predictable. I also started a new show called Taxi Driver.
It is quite excellent so far. It’s basically about a vigilante organisation who try to deliver justice when the official channels fail, often using a souped up taxi. It has a vibrant cast, good subplots and gets quite dark, but it’s satisfying to watch and there are some lighter moments too. Really liking it after 7 episodes.
