No worries at all on tagging me. The whole software industry is in shambles at the moment. One of our key clients (a US Fintech firm) just halved their budget (and our income from them) this week due to their clients also facing challenges. Our sales cycle has also double in length due to companies taking extra long to deliberate on project spend, forcing us to become creative with cashflow while we wait for new projects to materialise.
It’s really not a fun time to be a business owner in the software agency space, with all the tariff wars and AI scare-mongering doing the rounds. We didn’t even have these financial challenges during COVID. I hope (and pray) we emerge from this stronger than ever.
