My wife has just been told, by the school, that she must take the mention that we are waiting for the covid test results for my daughter off her whatsapp status. It is causing “huge” anxiety among the parents.

That’s why contact tracing apps are so important. I’m personally glad there’s a push for it globally, even with Android and iOS having the features built in with the latest updates. Now we just need proper apps to leverage the unique code sharing features.

Just don’t let out government get wind of the Russian App that people who test positive have to install on their phones and then have to check in or take selfies at specific times to show they are staying home else they get fines. Add to that the bugginess of the app that results in fines racking up for no reason and the people now having to pay thousands of dollars worth in fines… to the beloved Government of course.
