“This is not the greatest topic in the world… this is just a tribute”

So what I’m seeing here is “How many countries can fit on the African continent”… While it is pretty neat to see, I think the correct answer is 54.

Also, good morning!

Morning people of the palace

Im gonna murder someone at MTN Fiber

We are having shitty connections, very up and down and especially to international sites. Its definityly not Cool Ideas.

If someone in the know could confirm for me please - the rumour going around is we need new routers. Cool Ideas havent heard about it at all.
They are migrating from ZTE to Hauwei and busy replacing all routers etc

I haven’t heard anything, but needing a new router because you’re getting poor performance sounds weird. Are you getting these issues on Wi-Fi or also on machines plugged in via cable?

What could be happening is that your router got hacked, or is otherwise vulnerable to exploitation in a DNS Amplification attack. I’m not sure if that will eat up enough of your bandwidth to slow down your Internet so dramatically, but I have seen router DNS hacks make people’s DSL ridiculously slow.

Ek oorleef - ek werk net non stop maar dis ok, at least kan ek ekstra geld maak, die ander part timer wat saam met my gewerk het, het bedank so ek werk 2 ure extra elke aand en saterdae na klas

@SIGSTART I just got confirmation from Cool Ideas - Hi Angie, we have had connectivity issues on the MTN network but this was only yesterday and has since been resolved. If you are still experiencing these issues please log a call with our support desk and they will assist with further troubleshooting.

With regards to the switch out of the ONT this is true and they will be scheduling it within their team which we have no control over, what we will do is provide them with your contact details when they ask for them and they will be in touch directly with you providing a letter of communication with our letterhead as proof of this change.

Can’t seem to figure out what happened. Hit the barrier/curb on a straight road and flipped it. On a straight road… how?

Changing lanes/direction at high speed with a top-heavy vehicle will do that

Hemel you have to yank on the steering wheel to get that right

OK so my crazy boss is driving me insane…

She wants to know between google drive and one drive which is better for storage purposes of files. We use G Suite for our emails, but the kicker is she uses outlook to run the gmail email through and she only wants these things to be backed up to one location, she doesnt want stuff backed up to Google Drive and One Drive.

We also have an office 365 subscription (because everyone is familiar with the loos and feel of microsoft).

When we have IT ppl come through to give quotes on setups etc and their opinion about stuff she doesnt believe them (cause they are only out to make money so they wont have any interest in giving the “best” advice for her business).

Any advice on how i can explain this to her in terms that her crazy can understand?
