Usually a lock or something similar would come up when it is closed and starts so that the door can’t open mid wash.

It wasn’t really proper rain. It was this garbage you get in the Cape — a fine mist that seems to just kind-of hang in the air. It’s technically falling from the sky, but only barely.

I’m glad to say that I can access my data so that’s good. Basically the power went off while my machine was updating and it broke my Windows completely. I was worried that it was a hardware problem but it looks like power supply and everything is fine.
So I will backup my data tonight. And format the machine and install Windows and everything again.
Had a bit of a crappy couple of weeks so I’m hoping this is the last straw and that everything will go well again after that.
