Man Durban was just constant rain, thankfully the guys were working undercover. But yeah all the Durban people were saying how bad it was. At least the mornings were not rainy so I got to walk along the promenade.
@SIGSTART turns out the ZA Domain Authority (think thats the name) were have a conference in the hotel I was staying in. Although I have no idea what they were doing.

Interestingly enough I know them both from my adventures in African and Southern African internet.
AFRINIC is the other useless entity in the equation. To get an ASN (autonomous system number for the people not in the know) sorted correctly with AFRINIC took 6+ months. With RIPE and ARIN this took 2 weeks.

Things that I’ve come to know about AFRINIC in the last few months would raise the hair on your neck. It goes beyond incompetence.

It is my first true weekend in months, so I slept in, read a book and now gonna pick up some fabric paint to finish some tshirts

We removed the transport bolts, they even swapped the unit.
We found the fault
I dont want to admit to the fault
but it wasn’t me so its ok, the plug where the machine was plugged into was being overloaded - it melted the wall socket = so replaced that, new tap just incase as well, and new extension cord for heavy load power.
And it is working
