Morning
Happy father’s day to all the MEW dads.
Morning
Good day to you, kind sirs and madams!
G’mornin’ y’all!
I guess I just need to find a place with proper fibre installed. For local speed tests I use MyBroadband’s service — speedtest.co.za.
If I were less lazy I would have clicked the button to go to the more compact results screen with a shareable link, like so:
Morning people of the palace
Ive also only been using the mybroadband test for a while now - finding it more accurate.
I hope you all have a good day
kets just hope mine stays quiet - I need a nap after last nights bad sleep - thanks to a doggo who woke me up 3 times to throw up outside.
This is the same system as speedtest.co.za, it’s just the interface we use for our mobile app.
It looks different enough to make me not like it
bwahahaha oltman, and here I am wanting the web version to be blue not gray
Morning peoples.
Woohoo! I won a Google Home Mini over at MyBroadband.
Wow Congorats!
Last time i won a comp was on mygaming
Not that I am complaining. Ive stopped entering those - they are like the lottery
You lucky fish! I’m not allowed to enter
A lottery with much fewer entrants. If you enter every time you’re almost guaranteed to win at least once per year.
@SIGSTART I know this, i do enter some with my account there - its a different name and I keep it anon on purpose.
I just enter the few that I want, things like the google mini home is awesome but I will never use it.
I just love how both sites want me to upgrade to fiber even tho I am on fiber. . . .
Proof that your personal information isn’t gathered to target an ad at you
And here I still have an outstanding application for ADSL I made 16 years ago. When I recently moved to a new house 500m from my old one, Telskelm told me that they will not be transferring my copper phone line as they are removing all copper phone lines from the area. So… I will never get ADSL, Fibre will never get out here, cell based internet changes from Edge to H+ by the minute and I am stuck with radio carried internet.
There are a few disadvantages to living in a quiet farm town with 45 people in it. The most fun I have is leading sales idiots on who phone me to sell me ADSL plans, it all falls apart when they try to find my location on their maps to tell me which provider I can use.
Frogfoot has a thing for rolling out fibre to small towns. You might be able to convince them to roll out to you if you get over 50% of the town onboard.
This is great, I did the same with my boys. I think there really isn’t a need for Duplo. If you are careful and watch them.
