Looking forward to the week: getting some new board games thanks to SARS. Getting my eyes tested for multifocals, finally!
Anyone have any advice on multifocals?

They take a day or two to get used to, especially if it’s your first pair. Try to move your eyes rather than tilt your head to keep things at different distances in focus. Practice reading - a book or your phone - at different distances and heights, but again with as little head movement as possible.

The one guy at the office his advice was to not get cheap ones. My boss went and got cheap ones and regretted it.

Thanks for all the advice. Not sure what qualifies as “cheap ones” They are about 2k a lens! Is that a cheap one or normal one?
