V Rising - A Vampire Survival Experience

last night after setting up my base, I took a look around, 2 stone giants, and just over the bridge to the east of me is a treant, which is actually awesome, as they kill some of the patrolling skeletons and bandits which means free loot, I already have a pane of glass now XD

I gets better as you progress. No shame in avoiding battle in the beginning. I am still doing it in higher up levels. Cursed Forrest is a pain!

Naw Im a good runner and I tend to follow the bandits slowly at a safe distance and have picked one or two off that way.

Ok the story so far, World domination via global warming is going as planned as de-forestation efforts are in full swing. Got lucky and got a crossbow from a bandit, making is possible to easily kill Jaina the frost mage Kelly the Frost Archer, which allows me to make leather and a sun resistant cape. Going on the momentum I went to Rufus the Foreman next, got lucky again as one of the logger warriors had 100% warrior blood, sucked him dry fed off of him, and fought the foreman, barely losing any health thanks to the damage resist. Now working on my castle since I have the resources to make castle walls and floors now

Sorry I didn’t join you on your adventures earlier. I just quickly logged in to mark your castle on my map and feed mine some essence before my nephews arrived.

I will most likely be playing this tonight.

I have yellow shoes on my screen - does it mean I need new shoes?

It means they are damaged. Hover over them in your inventory and it will show what you need to repair.

Never mind I need coffee :stuck_out_tongue:

I think it’s middle mouse button by default. It will show you buttton prompts somewhere.

Gonna play some more now, will chill in MEW discord if anyone wants to chat

mmm my game seems broken… I can research anything without papers or a tome.
Edit: I have a feeling it’s because I’m part of a clan.

Yeah you do share research in a clan :frowning: sorry

Lol oof, and I see leaving the clan doesn’t remove it.
Maybe I’ll tell myself that those research and other unlocks isn’t there and play around it.

I blame @oltman

Clearly I missed the memo on this game. Is this supposed to be played with a gamepad, or is it M/KB ? Put another way, is this more reflex, or more grind for skill points?

It doesn’t currently have gamepad support at all.

Also there aren’t any skill points, everything is determined by your gear, which does require a bit of grinding to get materials to make.

Apparently the end game is just grinding for materials to repair your gear. I rage quit the game last night, haha. Left my corpse in the middle of a enemy encampment and just hit alt-F4. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m tired of RPG grinding. Too many RPG’s installed. But maybe the hype is real here, and I can’t afford to miss the hot minute, this game has. opens steam store
