They do! …and they don’t. We have space for 18 people in the office, but on an average day there are only 5. The devs and designers prefer to work from home. When they do come in, it’s usually quite unproductive due to socialising. I am proud of the space yes, but also cringe at the amount of money we’ve spent on custom furniture, entrances and decor. Most of the stuff is bespoke, once-off items, even the wall art is painted by a professional team.
Yeah, we’ve been constantly upgrading the office. We just started again from scratch with our Cape Town office. We moved in 2 weeks ago and we’re starting with modifications this coming week. So it’s going to be our focus project for the next couple of years. After that we’ll be ready to do the same for our Vienna office.
