Life is weird, used to listen to HIM so much, but life has this way of taking over and just pushing you forward in a blur, its been like that the last couple of years.
My son was looking for a hoody and found one of mine, its one for HIM. Made me immediately listen to my fav album of theirs.
Love Metal (Still remember the first time I heard of them, remember when we had music stores run by people that really loved music and you would kinda build up a relationship with them, when you came in to browse they would sometimes show you a new CD. Well, HIM was one. Hooked from that moment.) Damn I miss physical media…music, DVDs, big box PC games…
These two songs in particular are amazing.
Oh wow that is very good!
Some chill vibes for the office ![]()

Sting plays an acoustic set in Amsterdam’s famed Rijksmuseum for the ARTE Concert series of performances.
In “Sounds Like Art”, where music marries visual arts, the singer Sting - winner of 17 Grammy Awards - dialogues with paintings by Rembrandt, Vermeer and Judith Leyster at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
British author, composer and performer, Gordon Sumner, alias Sting, pays tribute to the old masters of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. The septuagenarian gentleman, former member of the band The Police, was inspired by Rembrandt’s paintings, including The Night Watch – installed in a glass case due to its restoration – as well as by paintings by Vermeer and Judith Leyster. The musician accompanies himself with a seventeenth-century guitar, loaned for the event, and performs excerpts from his musical show The Last Ship, but also some of his greatest hits.
