Tribes of midgard on steam, survival mode. I am a sucker for this kind of game and it is a ton of fun. Sort of like Diablo but with a viking.
Cyberpunk 2077 for when I want to shoot bad people in the face.

Anyone else received this gift on battle.net?
Since I had nothing else to do, I decided to play it, it asked me once to buy a subscription, but I could just cancel it and continue playing, currently lvl 11, not sure how long I will be able to play for, but screw it, its nice and chill so lets ride this as long as I can.
Death Stranding on PC through game pass. Weird but fun!
I’m also leveraging Game Pass now for Far Cry 5. Around 12 hours in and it states I’m 80% done with the story… Feels kinda short. I’m doing a bunch of side content as I play though. I love the game though - best one in the series I’ve played.
Is it FC 5 new dawn or the first FC 5? New dawn is very short but the first FC was pretty big, had to cover the whole county and clear each section.
Nope the first game. Already cleared Joseph and Jacob’s regions and about 80% done with Faith’s. Already unlocked all companions as well. Maybe I’m just playing through the game at a rapid pace… Destiny 2 must’ve conditioned me.
dude you are flying, but then again lemme check my hours in that - ok me and nima did it in 30, but we collected it all! Did everything we could find.
Yeah, that is pretty kickass!
At the moment my current competitive go to games are Rocket League and ACC.
I have a few more levels to play in the third game of the Spyro trilogy. I hadn’t intended to play all 3 games in a row but they are so fun.
On Game Pass I’ve been playing some Ghost Recon Wildlands coop. I’ve got most of the HUD elements turned off so it provides a good challenge.
Also on Game Pass I’ve been playing Trek to Yomi. The game is in black and white to emulate the old Samurai movies and it really nails the aesthetic. It has the best and only effective use of film grain in a game and the lighting effects are brilliant. The story is a classic samurai tale of loss and revenge, richly steeped in Japanese culture.
Switch
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (post game and side content clean up)
Bioshock
PC
Death Stranding
Spider-Man
Xbox
Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga
I’m lus for a shooter so I also downloaded Destiny 2 again and patched up Warframe but so far neither one is grabbing me. I played like one mission in Destiny and quit during the boss fight and did 2 or 3 Warframe runs and was meh after that.
After 3 weeks of no gaming, I decided to continue with Mafia 3. Played a bit and then the game crashed and now I can’t get it running again. Pity. Verifying game files did nothing. Now doing a complete uninstall and reinstall.
Also started Death Stranding which is beautiful, but a bit weird.
Might go back to We Happy Few if Mafia is a bust… still have a couple of playthroughs to finish. Think I’m currently on my 3rd character / playthrough and I think the playthroughs gets shorter as you move to the next character.
Im playing ghost recon with Nima - we suck at stealh
Im also playing powerwash simulater - its relaxing but infuriating when you have done a job to 99% and cant find what is still dirty.
Death stranding is already installed and ready when I have some time
Which is why I loved Ghost recon breakpoint, I went all in sniper then assault rifle, special forces style. No sneaking around, I hate doing it in games anyways.
So I discovered that I can level my characters to lvl 20, then they can no longer level, so I have a soft lock. I can still continue to do quests that I see and I can create and play with other characters. I also saw I can actually buy a 30day subscription with 300 in-game gold, which shouldn’t be too difficult considering I have already gotten 100G on one character without even trying. Might be nice to have something to play on and off like this.
*referencing that WoW gift I got.
Death Stranding on the back burner, game is a little slow when I need to blow off steam, which seems to be more and more these days.
Marvel Avengers on gamepass, love that I can pound stuff into the ground, don’t love button mashing.
This little game for fun and my survival kick, its pretty, the water effects are interesting, a one man dev indie game. Note the mixed reviews are because the multiplayer got removed to be worked on, game is solid single player.
That looks like a fun game. I read some of those reviews and it seems super harsh!
The game is in early access. That means the game is still being made.
The dev states clearly that multiplayer is not working properly and he is replacing it with new tech.
Everyone rating him so low because he is scum and lies and is not delivering on his promises.
Some people are just so dumb…
I got some new games so I’m playing some of them. The ones I’m playing being Cadence of Hyrule and Paper Mario: The Origami King.
I’m still busy with Cyberpunk.
I wonder if my gaming habits have become, how can I describe it, monotone. Not monotonous, as that would imply some form of negative connotation, but rather a trend where I just rotate between the same games during the year. Except for some minor Game Pass releases, I’ve pretty much played Cities Skyline, Hearts of Iron 4, Surviving Mars, Stellaris, Anno 1800, Factorio and Oxugen Not Included on a rotational basis for the past 3 years.
Right now it’s Surviving Mars and Hearts of Iron 4 in the rotation
Xbox
Finished alien isolation, that game drags out for too long, it becomes frustrating after a while, still the DLC episodes to do but that can wait a while
