Is Grey Zone Warfare good solo?
I only play the PvE mode, and as a solo it can get pretty tough! But I like going lone wolf, preying on the unsuspecting AI… Taking them out with satisfying suppressed headshots, watching their heads snap back in a mist of red… their lifeless bodies fall on the ground without a sound… I am their master…
Sorry what was the question again?
When skynet takes over I’m holding you personally responsible for any misunderstandings.
OK, serious answer:
- the game lacks shared progression, so going solo is almost required for you to do to progress with the missions. You can do your missions when in a squad, but for example a “kill this person” mission only completes for the person pulling the trigger. It needs some work.
- the solo mode is also fun for building up an nice inventory and some cash, then getting nice loadouts. Then you can hop onto PvP or in a squad and do some of the missions with your loadouts you built up.
- as a solo game it has quite a lot to do, the map exploration is a lot of fun and the even though most of the map is pretty green and bushy, some of the towns and points of interest makes it fun. The missions progression is also done well with you not being dumped into a hectic firefight while still rocking an AK-74 with no attachments.
In short, solo is still fun, co-op is also fun but they need to fix the progression, PvP can be solo but you will wish you had a buddy watching your back.
Started playing Satisfactory last night.
I’m sorry to hear that…this game will eat all your time!
The drive to build the perfect factory that is as efficient as possible is hard to ignore. Expect Excel in you future or at least a piece of paper to plan production layouts.
Also, set up a dedicated server if you can, that way your production never stops and ADA will be slightly happy with you.
You can set up a dedicated server easily enough through STEAM, but for a stream lined process, I use CubeCoders AMP, its just a few clicks to get a server up and supports lots of game servers. ($20 though)
That sounds amazing, sadly I am but a console pleb.
Subnautica 2. Very polished first iteration of the early access title. Very impressed. It has more to do than Subnautica 1 and Below Zero at first release.
With the sales that they made in the first 2 days (over 2 million) it looks set for an exciting ride to release.
I love this game ;-). Sweet underwater exploration with no combat.
I want to try subnautica but I saw base building and got put off immediately. I really don’t like building stuff in games. I want to break stuff ![]()

Ninja Gaiden 4 (got the DLC and finished it but still messing around)
Mainly I want to focus on Blades of Fire and try to finish it this time around. CD I’ve spent 130 hours on and I’m in Chapter 8. The annoying things built up enough that I felt I needed a break. Game has received 2 patches in the mean time so might play some this weekend.
That’s good to hear. As far as I am concerned, one of the best survival games, next to The Long Dark. I have been considering getting into the first game again but I can’t recall if there was a difficulty option.
Interesting controversy on Subnautica 2. Many players calling for the ability to kill fish while the Game team doubling down on the no violence.
Good points on both sides.
I am happy with no combat, it makes the game a little annoying when you are continually repairing your vehicle and yourself and try to avoid being bitten but I can live with that.
Funnily enough, wildlife hostility option in Satisfactory is such a great option. Satisfies both sides of the coin.
I’m still busy with Death Stranding 2. Over 100 hours in.
One thing that is very noticeable in both this and the first game, is the lack of bugs and crashes. I can’t remember when last I played a somewhat new (or even older game for that matter) without having to experience at least one crash to desktop or some kind of bug somewhere. Even for this new game, running it at full graphics settings on my old RTX 3070, I’m not even getting a stutter (at 1080 though, not 4k).
Still hacking away at Resident Evil Requiem
Started with Diablo 4
loving it
Refusing to get the Boyfriend involved in it - I just need a game he wont play (aka he will drive us nuts collecting everything and never destroying things and usng the wrong stats).
