fuck that game
I started playing that again now that it is on Xbox, sadly lose the progress from PC but at least I’m not bound to a small lapptop screen.
How much planning actually goes into completing a run? I am yet to beat my first run, either I am just bad at the game or just bad luck. Either way it wouldn’t surprise me. Regardless, it has a very enjoyable gameplay loop and I don’t mind the repitition.
Started Crackdown 3 on the weekend. I loved the first game (made by GTA III veterans) and wanted to relive the memories. As it turns out I cannot find ANYTHING new with it other than higher resolution. But its still dumb fun and filled to the brim with explosions.
Admittedly I cannot see the Azure Cloud explosions anywhere that they hyped at the announcements.
I’ve been dabbling in MP games at the moment.
Splitgate
Risk of Rain 2
Some PUBG
And as always the sim racing in AC and ACC
Started Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, so far so good, can’t wait to keep playing
Aw yeah!!! It was fun rocking with the legend!
Yeah getting your first run done does take some time… I finshed about one area per run the first time. Getting your mirror of night skills up helps a lot. So requires a few plays the first time. Unless you are just plain good.
So much this. I had missed unlocking more buffs with the Cthonic keys. Once I did reaching and the end became so much more achievable.
*Unless you are just plain trash — in my case.
Currently playing:
Microsoft Flight Simulator
F1 2021
Cyberpunk 2077
Still space punks, and just finished ME3, so done and dusted with them
Humankind, nice and relaxing, I hate the micromanagement in 4x games, probably why I get bored so quickly in them. In this I can just sit back and let things happen.
Tried both Hades and Curse of the dead gods, stopped after half hour, these games are not for me. I really enjoyed Children of Mortia, it was roguelike but had a story and not even half as frenetic as these are.
Also playing Pillars of Eternity Deadfire, good CRPG.
Also started playing My time with Portia, cute “survival” type game.
Playing so many games, thanks xbox game pass!
I’m telling you, it’s a blessing and a curse.
As long as it keeps me busy until the 28th of September when New World releases, I am happy for it to be both
Agreed.
All on Xbox, I am busy with the following:
Ride 4
F1 2020
MotoGP 20
Hades
Curse of The Dead Gods
Planet Coaster
Stick with Hades. The story unravels as you “progress” through the game. Runs become easier every time and finding boons and weapons that synergise nicely is incredibly rewarding.
I tried CotDG as well and it feels like a wannabe Hades…
PC:
Do not feed the monkeys
I didn’t know WTF was going on at first, but I’m starting to get the idea
I finally played through Titanfall 2 which I bought over 2 years ago. It was pretty good.
Also finished 12 minutes on Thursday. I didn’t like it very much, though.
I loved Titanfall 2! And keen to play 12 minutes sometime soon. I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t like it. It definitely looks interesting.
