We all have that one (or more) game that we keep playing or coming back to again and again. What game have you clocked the most hours on?
By far the game that I have spent the most hours on is CS:GO with Steam showing me that I have played it for 793 hours. I’ve had the game for over 5 years but it has only been in the last 2 years that I’ve played it regularly and I’m sure I will break past the 1000 hour level and beyond. I know some people have spent several thousand hours in games like Dota 2, Hearthstone, PUBG even.
I don’t have anything clocked but I’m guessing the Mass Effect trilogy would be one of the tops. 120 hours for a playthrough of all 3 and all DLCs, which I have done at least 4 or 5 times already.
Before tracking of time spent in games I would say there are a couple of games that would be close, if not over the 1000 hour mark. Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis comes to mind, as I literally spent months playing that game.
In the age of tracking, I was surprised to see that currently Fallout 4 is my most played game on Xbox at the moment, with over to 200 hours clocked in that game. Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 4 is close seconds and thirds
On Steam it seems like Kerbal Space Program has the highest hours. Have over 200 hours in that as well, but I believe these numbers to be much lower. I played a shit tonne of Kerbal with extensive mods outside of Steam, so I think there is another 300 hours that Steam did not track.
Oh geez, I completely forgot about MMOs. I put a lot more into WoW than Mass Effect, but even that pales to how many hours I played Star Wars Galaxies. Even more so if you count the emu.
Hmmm. I’ve got a bunch that I replay every couple of years. I don’t actually keep track, but I’ve play Mass Effect a lot, however, one playthrough of Witcher 3 takes a couple of months so that could easily make up most of my gaming time. Think I’ve played through it 3 or 4 times already.

One of the Fallout games (currently playing nr 4 again, but probably won’t go back to the previous ones again)
And Dragon Age 3 on rare occasions. I’ll probably replay it once more before the next game comes out.
I might also add the Shadow of [placeholder] games to this list.
It’s difficult to remember back to my youth, as I’m sure there were games I sunk countless hours into. If the past 5 years is enough to gauge on, then that honour goes to Guild Wars 2, which I spent around 400 hours in. After that it will be Diablo 3, which is around 180 hours and then The Witcher 3, which took me 160 hours to complete.
