YouTube changed their crap a year or two ago.

Don’t give me that crap… You are perfectly able to make recommendations based on my subscriptions and liked videos. There’s no need to pull this kind of crap. I’m not turning that on.

I barely watch any youtube anymore because of this. Which is fine, since they’ve also gotten really aggressive with the ads.

I started using an rss type news reader, and just added YouTube channels I like, ages ago. No recommendations. No ads. No channels I don’t care about. Don’t even show comments, cos that’s ripped right out of the webpage by ublock.
