The 3 Williams drivers in P13-15
The stream is ready to go! See you guys tonight!
(btw, I had a look at creating a separate spectator view but this will require a second Steam account with AC installed, so I wont be able to do that. At least you get to see my point of view, and I will have full race grid on the side at all times)
it keeps telling me the discord link is invalid/ expired
Hi, @kylewit welcome to MEW!
It’s probably expired, I think it was a temporary link. There’s a permanent one somewhere on the forum, I’ll link if I can find it.
Ah, here we go, it’s in this thread, first post.
It’s been a little hectic today, I suppose I should let you guys know that I created a 3rd qualifying session for those who were not able to make the last 2.
Only people who have not posted a time will be able to join the server right now. They are fighting out the last few places on the grid, so if you’ve placed on the grid, your position is guaranteed.
Q3 will run until 6PM, thereafter it will return to normal practice up until the race at 7.
Oh right! This race starts at 7pm not 8.
Thank you guys so much, that was awesome. Hope to do more of these, but not anytime soon!
If anyone managed to get a replay of the entire race, please send my way, I’m missing the first 20 minutes.
I think we had 14 finishers, out of 19 starters, pretty good
I’m exhausted, goodnight.

Most excellent race last night! Huge thanks to @SlinX for organizing and running a really professional event.
Was a lot of fun all round. Tough to hold on for the full three hours, but very rewarding to be able to finish the race, even if it was 7 laps behind.
Congrats to @Slinx for the win and @DieGrootHammer for the excellent driving with your FFB issues and disconnect. And to everyone else that entered, whether finished or not.
Sorry to all those I hampered, hindered and held up, and huge apologies to anyone I accidentally made contact with. I’m slow and okay when I’m alone on the circuit, but slow and kak when others are around. It’s not malice, it’s mistakes.
Let’s do it again. But yeah, just not for a little while.
I feel like you guys are conspiring to let me win
According to simresults, out of the top 20 best laps, I only came in at 16th and 20th
Kudos to @DieGrootHammer for the wheel fix during his pitstop and still somehow ending 2nd.
Thanks guys, that was a lot of fun! 3 hours is a long race, but the banter definitely kept it entertaining
Thanks for organising @SlinX
I now finally understand why Latifi shows up every weekend (besides the paycheck). Even from last place, it was a huge amount of fun.
Next time I’ll remember to
- bring sunglasses
- Get @DieGrootHammer’s better half to be better at sabotage
- Have a mute button handy for when the singing starts
I hope I didn’t hold too many people up too badly - in general I’m not great at controlling a tail happy car like the Corvette, and it’s so much harder when there’s a faster car right behind you!
Thanks so much guys, that was pretty damn fun and so tough on the everything to keep going.
Glad I could reconnect and hold my position when my game crashed.
Also, my consistency is higher than @oltman
In fact, I’m 6th in terms of consistency, slow, but constitent, I’m getting there, now to work on the speed.
Thanks for the race guys, and thanks for hosting and organizing it @SlinX. That was a really enjoyable race despite the FFB issues I had. It looks like AC just doesn’t like Logitech wheels as I’m getting more and more issues with the wheel and the game. I would highly suggest we look at ACC or other games for future events.
Not surprising… My consistency really let me down last night. Glad I can be a benchmark for you, although I think you need to set yourself a higher bar!!!
Lol one step at a time, first I want to be able to keep up with you, then move from there. Except, it does not help when you keep going off behind me at T3.
THAT TURN!!! AAARGH!
Also, I think we should petition a special badge from @SIGSTART for those who finished the race! This was an epic effort! In fact, it was a Most Epic effort!
T3 was the flat out one right?
