Assetto Corsa EVO

With its Steam Store page launched yesterday after a fair while since it was officially announced, AC EVO is still slated to be arriving on PC this year.

Assetto Corsa EVO redefines the realism and features of one of the most popular multiplatform driving simulations ever developed. Featuring cars and tracks from different classes spanning across years of motoring history.

Like its predecessor, Assetto Corsa EVO will include cars from various classes spanning years of automotive history: road cars, classics, hypercars, prototypes, and racing cars. The most iconic representation of the automotive and motorsport world.
EVO stands out for its meticulous attention to each vehicle, modeled through an advanced system that accurately reproduces mechanical, electronic, and aerodynamic performance. This level of detail ensures an even more authentic and engaging driving experience.

Furthermore, the circuits are recreated with extreme precision thanks to Laserscan technology, which, along with a new algorithm that realistically simulates asphalt behavior and dynamic weather conditions, provides the driver with an even more satisfying and immersive driving approach.

There’s been no video or images of vehicles in motion released yet, but the detailed vehicle interior and exterior shots and the track visuals that have been released show a lot of promise.

The upcoming title can now be wish listed on Steam, but no specific date or pricing is indicated as yet.

The Steam page also shows minimum and recommended specs for AC EVO:

That Alpine A290 is hugely interesting - it was first seen last year as a three-seater concept, with a central driver seat. I’m not sure it’s even reached production yet.

Early Access starts 16th January 2025.

Assetto Corsa EVO redefines the realism and features of one of the most popular multiplatform driving simulations ever developed.

As with its predecessor, Assetto Corsa EVO will include cars from different classes spanning across years of motoring history. From road cars, classics, hypercars, and race cars. The most iconic representation of the automotive and motorsport world. Each vehicle is reproduced through an advanced system that simulates mechanical, electronic, and aerodynamic performance, combined with the fidelity of the circuits created using Laserscan technology.

Assetto Corsa EVO raises the bar of realism that has made the franchise one of the most popular driving simulations of the last decade even higher.

With the launch of a new KUNOS Simulazioni proprietary, high-performance photorealistic engine, VR and triple screen support have become first-class features and the new mathematical model meticulously simulates asphalt performance in different dynamic weather conditions that guarantees an authentic and realistic experience which will redefine the standards that have made Assetto Corsa globally renowned.

EVO represents the commitment from the development team at Kunos to the motoring enthusiasts, in our shared passion for cars, driving, and racing.

Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo 7 continue their post-launch support, improving by leaps and bounds over their launch versions. However, those seeking a new racing sim to sink dozens of hours into might want to check out Kunos Simulazioni’s Assetto Corsa EVO.

Entering Steam Early Access on January 16th, it offers 20 different vehicles and five real-world circuits from the get-go. Quick Race, Practice Sessions and the new Driving Academy are also available to familiarize fans with the racing. The developer has also made multiple improvements to the physics, handling, suspension, and track simulation, creating an even more realistic and immersive experience.

Early access is only really the beginning, though, and EVO has so much more on the way. Here’s everything you should know about the title, what the future holds for its full release (including the series’ first-ever open-world map), and much more.

Some basic wheel setup info:

I’m getting the feeling that someone didn’t do their time zone conversions correctly… I reckon it’ll go live at 18:00/19:00 only.

It has appeared on sale at Humble Bundle for $40, selling with at $32 (around R600) with a discount.

Also has a store page on Fanatical, but no price there yet - countdown says release in 10 minutes…

I’m thinking that the R629 that ACC is currently selling at will be the sort of pricing we’ll see - maybe with an early access discount :crossed_fingers:t2:

It’s out!! Italians, they drive fast cars where the window winders wind the wrong way, but can’t tell the fucking time.
