Sweet Baby Cheeses! It’s not Tuesday at all. It’s Wednesday. Has been all bloody day. When I replied to @DieGrootHammer this morning over in the Formula 1 thread, and until 10 minutes ago, I genuinely thought it was Tuesday.
What a chop I am. And you lot are all too polite not to call me out on it. A friendly “you’re losing your mind old man” would not have been inappropriate.
In my defence, it has been a particularly kak week: mega stressed kid writing her Matric finals, no electricity for most of Monday, no water for hours over Monday and Tuesday (the real one!), a burst geyser flooding through the ceiling when the water was restored, plumbers and building contractors fighting about who is responsible for fixing the leaks in the roof, and more. It’s no wonder I lost a day somewhere along the line.
Sorry for the ribbing DGH - will get the post up tomorrow (aka Thursday) and dedicate it to you in apology.
