Forgive me for a moment as I vent my frustration. For the list of things broken and not working in my life has reached an unprecedented high.
- I have a broken oven. The damn thing went pop over the weekend, and the electrician says element and thermostat is gone.
- My PC of 6 years have decided to take a nose dive into eternal slumber, with the hard drive finally packing up last night.
- Thanks to a clerical glitch with my home owners association, I have been locked out of my own complex. Luckily the guards know me and still lets me slip in.
- As I locked my front door this morning, I guess out of pure exasperation, I managed to break the key in the trelly door lock. Which means my front door is only locked by a very insecure sliding glass door.
- There are 5 different crucial projects at work that I am behind on due to failures in Logic Apps development, SQL query failures, and the movement of data to an Azure Data Lake that has taken longer than what was promised.
- With my whole family staying with me the weekend, and my cleaning lady having not pitched for work in more than 2 weeks, I can look forward to a whole day of cleaning my house on the public holiday.
- I have tooth ache, just because why the hell not.

Guys. Iām really struggling with this whole power and internet thing. Our areaās power trips every now and then after there was load shedding and it comes back on. If it comes back on. And when we do have power our stupid Vodacom fibre doesnāt work.

We are on 3B.
But yeah our work one is different. I work in Boskruin and then itās 6B and then itās 8B I think. Not sure.

That sucks, and Jhb I think has 4 hour loadshedding blocks? Our power now goes out for about 7 hours every day and that is more than frustrating enough. Donāt even want to know what multiple sessions of 4 hours a day feels like.
Due to all this loadshedding nonsense, Iāll pretty much have to work tomorrow and probably the weekend as Iām way behind schedule with my work. Thankfully my computer hibernates very well so I just pick up where I left off.

At least our ceiling cracks have been fixed. Now I have the yay job of painting it and the door that was installed.
