Decided just to start antibiotics for tick bite fever. It’s too much of a coincidence. Haven’t been sick in ages, and now, soon after a tick bite I’m experiencing flu-like symptoms.
Had tick bite fever before, so I do have some immunity to it, might be why symptoms start showing later, and not as sever as before.
Need to be ready for this weekend, I’m taking my wife to the west coast. We both need a break, so I figured, let me buy tickets and rent a car with our ebucks. Not a very practical break-away. Cape Town for 1 night, but we never do random stuff like this, so why the hell not now?! #YOLO

Whelp, I went to the dentist. I had dry socket, meaning the blood clot did indeed come out (@Wyvern called it). He put in some medicine, and scraped until it started bleeding again. Gotta try and make sure I keep this clot in until it heals properly.
So no whiskey!

I figured, sowwy dude its horrible, listen to them - no smoking, no using straws to drink with aka no sucking motions for at least the first 2 days. just be glad it didnt get infected. That pain will make anyone cry.
Swill lukewarm salt water in your mouth after every meal to keep gunk out

I don’t smoke, so that’s no biggie. He didn’t say anything about straws, but that’s ok, I saw it online during research (my mom and I figured out the dry socket thing, then I looked in the mirror and sure enough, I could see bone). The salt water I have been doing and will continue to do, but gotta be careful with it. Heavy swishing can cause it to come out.
I took pills before I went to bed and when I woke up, so pain is under control. Plus my face and tongue are completely numb right now…

so he put an out of office message on his e-mail form yesterday for this entire week(like ppl phone him all the time etc or send him e-mails that much) . he put the out of office on so that he can focus more on what needs to be done cause there is a shit load of stuff that he needs to do.
so now he is sitting in his office busy putting gut on a damn fishing reel…, before that he oiled the fishing reel.
i feel like im going to strangle this mat with this fishing reel gut!!!

Good morning people! About to hit the road for my daily vineyards drive. Who knew Cape Town would have such a profound effect on my mental wellbeing? I feel absolutely glorious today, even after a terrible day yesterday working in an apartment with a baby screaming non-stop due to teething.

And honestly this is why I refuse to work outside of cape town. I have mental balance here, even if the family is driving me insane.
My hope is one day to have a better job, to have dad seeing a therapist (wishful thinking)
We have had wedding drama since friday - where the wedding was basically called off on friday and on and off all weekend. It is “resolved” as of last night but I don’t believe it.
@murfle - you will be on them for at least another day or two especially since the clot got loose, that increases the healing time - I hope tho that it is feeling better.
