Our ISP lowered their prices. Got an invoice for R750 less for next month. Doubling our line speed would have made it R400/month more, but the sales guy insisted they don’t offer anything in between.
The evil laugh comes in as I asked my boss if we can go for the extra R400, which he said no as expected. I really pressed on the ISP for the 1.5 option, using the “if we spend R750 less, our budget will change, and we’ll never see that money again” argument, and their CEO gave his approval. Took the papers for my boss to sign saying I got a 50% speed increase for the same price, neglecting to mention their new pricing scheme… Sure, I did manage to get an offering not originally on the table, but I can’t help but have a devilish smirk on my face.
It’s hysterical really…
You see, they thought that I would not want to do this and that THIS would be their way to get rid of me. But, I am stubborn… VERY stubborn… So I am doing it with a smile on my face and joy in my voice.
And of course that is NOT sitting well with management as this is not NOT going according to their plan.

The Ford dealership my dad takes their cars too fooked up royally
The car went in for a service 2 weeks ago, they found the thermostat housing is broken, and was supposed to order the part. Today the car went in to get the part replaced and Ford sent the wrong part again.
So the dad is going to the dealership to fight. I feel almost sorry for those idiots, because he is going to make life miserable.
Having a SUPER random day again… One of those where I am cryng with laughter one second and ready to KILL in the next…
