Started playing again after months, wow they buffed the drop rate. Gold guns dropping like you’re a warlord from the Middle East.

I’ve finished the game with everyone but Zane at this point. Zane is the coolest character personality wise but he is my least favourite gameplay wise. However, I haven’t played him since they buffed him (his annointed guns).
I’m currently doing my TVHM playthrough with Amara to be ready for the eventual third playthrough (hopefully). Skipping pretty much all side stuff for now but I will get to some of it eventually. I just wish the game had a quest reward indicator like BL2 had so I know which ones to do for gear.
I’m currently max level (57) but the game scales well so I’m keen to join anybody who needs another badass on the team. 
Sidenote: I accidently linked the wrong epic account to my steam and I can’t reverse it so if I have you on steam I won’t have you on epic if you don’t add me.

Did you play when they almost had just Gold guns drop or are you playing after it got back to normal.
The event was you could also buy gold guns at the shops its over now.
You can’t buy them at shops any more but they do drop from the slots still. I think that ends today as well though.

O had that one but got a better gun soon after that one.
Also have to add the Shield that takes electrical damage and converts into Shields is so broken you can just stand in a puddle shoot it with an electrical weapon and just tank all the boss shots.

For my current build that shotgun works amazing. I’m always up close to enemies so the loss in accuracy means nothing and that potential 300% damage boost is great.
Will play a bit later and get some shots of my build and current gear. Would love to see other people’s as well.

Unfortunately Borderlands hates me again … According to them I have no internet connection - but I downloaded the whole game in a day.
Well this is happening atm in borderlands 3 I think they broke something… This is only 2 so far its about 8 loot enemies that I have looted.

It’s an event. They increased the drop rates on rare chests and loot monsters.

I’m planning on playing a lot during the next week, to find those hoarder tinks, thanks to loot event. Finally hit 57, and managing MM4. Missing some cool items.

Also, the sand hawk is an SMG. Are they trying to fucking trigger the world 
Now that I am finally playing BL3 and doing some reading, I am starting to realise that the “end game” of BL3 is going to be exactly that for me, with each character of course.
The grind for better gear seems pointless. Am I wrong?

I guess that’s a matter of perspective. You get better gear so you can get even better gear using the better gear that you got. A lot of looters are like that. I enjoy a little grinding for loot but it’s not my whole reason for playing the game. I enjoy playing through the content at my own pace a lot more.

Gear buffs/nerfs are coming in june, to make more builds viable in Mayhem 10. The issue at the moment, is that so little of the dropped legendaries are good for endgame M10. As for the drop rates, I don’t think they’re overly bad. It’s just that most of what drops is not that great, which is exactly what they’re trying to fix. Some players think it’s ok, to get the perfect weapon with base dmg and 300% anoint on your first farming run. The grind/reward is always a balance.
As much as I moaned about the grind, I did manage to find 6 or 7 300% anoint weapons, which absolutely wreck everything. I’m more in the camp of, i want build diversity now, rather than I’m struggling on M10. Oh man, and I’m really looking forward, post buff, to using a clairevoyance and unseen threat again.
