Well, itās got a 5 year warranty, and theyāre giving me a discount, so Iām gonna go for it.

I have exactly that chair at our office, minus the headrest, and I brought one home for my WFH setup. I like it, itās great, the only problem I have is that I tend to get tension in my neck. Though I donāt think that is related to chair but more screen height. I find when sitting in the chair I donāt suffer with my lower back like I do when working on the couch.

So Iāve had my Karo Alula for a couple weeks now. Delivery was fast, so props to their choice of courier.
Took my a few days to figure out how bad I was slouching. I usually have it locked in upright, but right now Iām at a slight incline. I have to say I love the headrest. The multi-adjust armrests come in really handy (wellā¦ armey) depending how Iām sitting at my desk. I would have preferred the "4Dā kind I saw on other chairs, but I donāt regret the purchase at all.
Iām sure this will help with my posture. Now if only I could get something like this for the officeā¦

Just an update about the chair I got from Karo.
The Alula, now discontinued, wasnāt really supporting my weight and the backrest was leaning back too far. They replaced the gas cartridge and the mechanism free of charge, but it didnāt help. They sent me a new chair. It was a different model, but I am very happy with it.
I have to say their 5 year warranty is legit. Their customer service is top notch. I can highly recommend the company.

Thought i would do a bit of resurrection of this thread for anyone looking at getting a new chair and wanting to splurge.
I recently got given this chair for my birthday as my last makro bought chair was no longer sufficient given the amount of hours i spent on a pc chair and it was on its last legs. Old age has been catching on and my back was killing me from the improper form from the cheapy chair i had previously.
I can honestly say this is the absolute best chair i have ever sat and worked on. I went for the non-mesh version so that i could also discourage my kitties from claiming my chair as it was a constant fight in who claimed the chair first thing in the morning 
The price is on the extreme side but I just cannot tell you how great this chair has been. Also on the delivery of the chair it was set up for me and i did not have to lift a finger to put the chair together.

So my Makro leather (yea calling BS on that one) office chair I bought many moons ago is finally becoming tattered and the tilt lock snapped a few years ago. You guys seem to be singing praises of Karo.co.za

Ya, got mine in 2021 or 2022 I think. Had a problem with it, and they sent me another one. Was a different model since the one I initially ordered got discontinued, and it hasnāt been a problem at all. Great chair, great company.

Had mine for 3 years now, no problems, still going strong. Most makro/game chairs I have had in the past go bust in some way by year 1.
