Cyberpunk 2077 — We Have a City to Burn🔥

I must say i have watched a few videos and streams on this game and as amazing and cool looking this game is. I just feel it was way to overhyped. My potato cant run it anyway (Sadface. decided not to upgrade this year) but I wonder what the hype train will look like in a week or two.

GL HF to the people that have it.

The game is buggy AF, mostly visual and audio bugs, but underneath all that the writing and world building is really, really good. As @Beo has mentioned the characters and voice acting are top notch.

How long is the intro? Ive heard various times

I guess that depends on what you define as the intro.

If you mean the part where you play your chosen starting path, then rather short. Maybe an hour or so.

The prologue is fairly long though and can go on longer if you explore and do side content before diving into the main story. For now I’m mainly focusing on the story and after about 7 hours I finally saw the title screen.

Think I’ll crack a few brewskies tonight and spend some much needed time with my lady-man in Cyberpunk.

As @Wlad has also mentioned and seems to be common knowledge at this point. The game is buggy, I’ve had only one crash (on PS4) when I went into photo mode. Albeit, nothing has been game-breaking and I don’t feel any of my experiences currently have detracted from the overall experience.

EDIT: think my biggest gripe at present is the fact that some onscreen text can be rather small to see/read. I play on a TV which is about 8ft away from me.

I am going to have to be careful with this game, I have a feeling either motion sickness or migraine triggers. . . .

I have seen a guy say he has spent 8 hrs on the game so far and he hasn’t finished the intro. “Just absorbing the cyberpunk atmosphere.”

In photo mode the graphic error goes away:

Drew in scribbles to simulate the weird mud I see on the screen right there

So I’ve progressed a bit further, and the game is starting to work its charm on me. The crashes are now few and far between. But the amount of bugs is astronomical and the game has worse optimization than almost all early access games I’ve ever played. And this sucks, because the game is good. Not great, not perfect, not “the best of a generation”. Just good. Maybe I haven’t gotten to the great part yet, and I hope it gets better. Because I do want to live this game. There is so many Deus Ex vibes and everything about the game on paper should be right up my alley. But it’s not rocked my socks yet. And I really want it to. But with the amount of bugs, the poor optimization and lack of spark, I have my doubts.

Thus far . . . My favourite bug - when looking in a mirror I am bald. . . .

Least favourite bug:

Not being able to pick up random crap

I see Steam has a 1.4gb update just now. Maybe that will fix some of the bugs.

Crap, the update broke my game. Now I get a message saying the Cyberpunk has flatlined upon startup.
