I got further in DS3 than DS1 and it was kinda fun. I got up to Firelink Shrine, started my way up some stairs and was invaded by a depraved and got pwned. After that I decided to try Hollow Knight and got my but promptly kicked by the first boss. Finally I cried a bit and went on to finish Steamworld Dig.

Pretty much, yes. It kinda put me off the game completely. Can I stop that from happening?
Yes. Don’t go up those steps. That dude will just stay there.
This weekend I am enjoying the calm before the storm that is Dark Souls 3. And I’ve decided I’ll try my best to stream my endeavours. I’ll have my own Prepare to Try as Talentloos.
Yeah just don’t go there. From Firelink Shrine there is no “direct path” further. You sit at the bonfire and travel to the High Wall to continue.
Dont let him put you off. You don’t have to deal with him. If you kill him you get a pretty decent weapon plus you can summon him to assist in a boss fight later on. That’s pretty much it - either kill or press on to Lothric. You can go back later and kick his ass once you’ve leveled up a bit.

So I tested streaming. Seems like my poor PC is a bit on the slow side to play and stream Dark Souls at the same time, but I will give it a go!! The first torture session will be…TOMORROW EVENING!!! You are welcome to come and laugh at my utter noobness
I got to the dragon! Got my ass handed to me the moment I got to it, but at least I’m making a bit of progress in the game.

I just did path of the dragon, and helped the deserter dude reach the top…I think i’ll put off the nameless king and just go finish his questline. yea…think i’ll do that. what can i do after that to put off fighting the nameless king. ideas?
Do the DLC if you haven’t, or other optional bosses you’ve skipped.
Farm souls for 2 days.
Buy some gifts for Nameless King, perhaps he’ll decide not to crumple your puny face.
Play Solitaire.
Just do it. It’s not that bad… Ok, I’m lying.
